Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced CDL driver to operate a tri-axle dump truck for hauling bulk materials such as gravel, sand, stone, dirt, and other aggregates. The ideal candidate will be dependable, and familiar with local hauling routes.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a tri-axle dump truck to transport and deliver bulk materials to and from construction sites or supplier yards
- Load and unload materials as required, ensuring secure and balanced loads
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate driver logs and delivery tickets
- Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site supervisors, and customers
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the truck
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Clean driving record with a strong focus on safety
- Minimum [3] years of experience operating tri-axle or similar dump trucks
- Experience hauling bulk materials preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability
- Knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns is a plus
