Job Description:
We are seeking a hardworking Laborer to join our team and assist with construction and excavation projects on residential and commercial job sites. This role involves digging, grading, loading materials, setting up safety protections, and supporting equipment operators to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with digging, grading, and trenching on residential and commercial job sites
- Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment
- Set up and take down job site protection (barricades, cones, etc.)
- Spot equipment operators to ensure safety and accuracy
- Use hand tools and small machinery (shovels, rakes, compactors, etc.)
- Clean and maintain tools, trucks, and job sites
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear proper PPE
- Perform other tasks as directed by the foreman or equipment operators
Requirements:
- Previous construction or excavation experience is a plus, but not required
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
- Valid driver’s license preferred
